
Donaldson Center Fire Department
The Donaldson Center Fire Department was established in 1982, in direct support of Donaldson Center Industrial Air Park, and the private industries that have facilities within the park. The Donaldson Center Fire Department is manned 24 hours a day, utilizing two crews of 9 personnel. Their equipment is comprised of three structural apparatus, three aircraft rescue fire-fighting apparatus, plus an incident command vehicle outfitted with a 200 lb dry chemical skid unit. All apparatus are pumper type, with more than 750 gallons of water and are foam capable.
Emergency services provided by the department include:
- Structural and Aircraft Firefighting
- Hazardous Material Response
- Medical First Response for Greenville County Emergency Medical Services
- High Angle Rescue
- Confined Space Rescue
Non-emergency services include:
- Fire Code Inspections
- Industrial Fire/Safety Training programs
- Plant Hose Testing
